People of courage: Arise!
Wake up and open your eyes.
Our freedom is slipping away.
Rise now, there's no time to delay.
We once were a beacon of light
to a world that was filled with black night.
We somehow let evil slip in
and now must repent of our sin.
Let's get on our knees and pray
that the Lord will show us the way.
From heaven, we know He will hear
if the plea that we make is sincere.
We must turn from the wrong to the right
and allow Him to lead in this fight.
If we ask with our heart in our hand,
He has promised to heal this great land.
Good people, our history is long
and America's heroes were strong.
For freedom, they fought and they died;
they prayed, they struggled, they cried.
Their blood still runs through our veins.
Will we sit idle or take up their reins?
America, there's a job we must do.
Rise up, it's a task left for you!
